Our Excretory System

Dear Journal,

This is my journal for this week. The topic that we tackled was about the excretory system.

I learned that excretion is the process by which metabolic wastes like nitrogenous compounds are eliminated by the body. I have read also some things about the exretory system. I knewed that the reason the principal excretory organs are not the intestines is that the vast majority of the contents of the stool was never in the body in the first place. The gastrointestinal tract is actually outside the body per se.However, a small portion of the fecal matter contains actual waste material from the inside of the body. This is primarily the bile, which is formed in the liver, passes into the gallbladder, and thence into the intestines via the bile duct. The importance of the excretory system is that waste, if not disposed of, would poison the body.

We must take good care of our exretory system.

Our Respiratory System

Hi ma'am! How are you? Respiratory system is the next system that we discussed. I can't forget this system! Why? Just read my journal,he he..

The activity about the circulatory system is my favorite activity. All groups were assigned to made a lung model. The purpose of doing this activity is for us to know what happens to our diaphragm when we exhale and inhale. With the help of this lung model we can see the effects of smoking to our lungs. As we are doing this activity some of our group mates are not participating. Some were busy in texting while some were chatting to other groups. One of our group mates cried while one of our members was scolded by our teacher because of texting in time of our science. Me? I'm just helping my leader in writing our visual aid.

Our Ciculatory System

Dear Journal,

Hello ma'am! This is my next journal for our second grading period. This week we studied about the circulatory system. This system has many subtopics. For me, you must understand this system very well to avoid confusions.

I have read that the circulatory system is an elaborate system for the transport of nutrients, oxygen and wastes that circulate throughout the body. It also provide the body with natural defense mechanism against diseases. One thing that I can't forget when we are discussing this is the question that "Is our circulatory system has an important relation to our love life?" Hehe, I am confused when some of my classmates said that when our heart beats faster, it only means that we are in love..Hehe..We also had an activity and tests about this system. When we had our recitation the one that I have chosen is the question about the circulatory system, I am surprised and dissapointed because of all the systems this system is the one i did not reviewed. Huhu,, but it's OK.. Better luck next time..Hehe

Our Digestive System

Hi ma'am!,This is my first journal for our second grading period. Hmmnn, I am so excited with our upcoming lessons. In fact, my favorite topic in science is about the systems in our body. This is my favorite lessons during my elementary days,hehe. This week we started discussing the systems in our body. We started in our digestive system.

I learned that digestion is the process by which food is changed into a form that the body can used. As we begin our discussion you asked the whole class some questions related to our digestive system. Some of my classmates recited the process of digestion while some recited the importance of digestive system. then you begun playing your power point presentation. You discussed the system very clear. The days went by, we were holding the activity for our digestive system. Our group members were copying the works of others while some answered the activity by themselves. Me?, I am just remembering your power point presentation to answered the questions very well. We also had a test about this system. I wished I am passed on that test,hehe..
